I shifted when I tried to find another self. They took over, and I kept on like a ventriloquist. Surprisingly, it was amusing and truthful. Spiritualism of the daily life in a multi- centered imaginary dialogue: shifting one’s subjectivity in a recorded collective session of narration on behalf of another person. Improbable interactions help unpack the unease in everyday relations, shift attention to the overlooked familiar. How much impersonating someone else implicitly speaks about our own selves? How does the experience of representing somebody change our behaviour? Themes: emotional memory; ageing before Corona; food, politics, matter of art.
